Gebr. Pfeiffer, Inc. of Pembroke Pines, Florida was recently awarded a contract by Allied Environmental Solutions, Inc. to provide lime hydration technology for the Whelan Energy Center Project Unit 2 located near Hastings, Nebraska.
The Gebr. Pfeiffer solution for this project includes the following:
•type KLV 630/4-2 hydrator,
•SLV500 separator,
•MRD 1.2x4 ball mill,
•all material handling, dedusting and inter connecting chutes and ducts.
On-site delivery for this project is scheduled for February - April 2009.
The project will be managed by Allied Environmental Solutions, Inc. which specializes in providing air quality control technology for the power generation market in North America. Allied Environmental Solutions, Inc. is located in Columbia, Maryland and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Envirotherm GmbH.
