Re: Chain Conveyor Designing
This is a common application for an en-masse type elevator-conveyor. Do a search for 'chain conveyors', 'en-masse conveyors' or 'redler conveyors' and I'm sure you will find someone local to yourself who can supply you a suitable machine. ■
Re: Chain Conveyor Designing
Hello Micha,
Your preference is to handle sawdust by a chain conveyor at an inclination of 60 degree. Material is non-abrasive. Drag flight conveyor with close spaced flights can possibly be used. The literature mentions inclination up to 45 degree, you can look into the possibility for its use up to 60 degree by choosing the size considering the appropriate reduction in capacity due to inclination. In case you are buyer, I suggest you to contact supplier of drag flight conveyor about the technical feasibility and price aspect to decide about its use.
The other option is 2 numbers of screw conveyors. First one horizontal and discharging into second one inclined at 60 degree. You can look into the possibility of this arrangement.
The other clear option is to have enmass conveyor.
