Our Minerals & Metals division is seeking a strong professional to join our Engineering and Process Team as Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
•Provide leadership and support to produce engineering deliverables for projects and studies.
•Maintain engineering standards across projects and studies by identifying and implementing best practice and holding the team to account for quality.
•Key role in the mentoring and development of graduates and ongoing improvement and maintenance of engineering systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 10 years experience in base and precious metals extractive mineral processing industries.
•Relevant Undergraduate Degree in Engineering
•Significant engineering design experience with crushing, grinding, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry pumping and agitation, solids classification and filtration
•Previous experience managing international projects would be an asset
•Knowledge and experience with 3D design software packages, PDS or AutoPlant is considered an asset
•Proven ability to manage, motivate and influence employees at all levels.
•Commitment to mentoring and coaching of personnel
•Well developed written and oral skills
•Highly developed self management skills, including time management
