Re: Minimum Limit (Length) Of Overland Conveyor
Assume you intended maximum?
Conveyor (~20 km):

Cable belt:
Worsley (30.4 km)

Others will probably have more details.

Limit Of Overland Conveyor Length
We are quoting overland lengths of 100 kM, 72 km, and 32 km.
What is the definition of an overland length? There are restriction on the length and geometry.
In the above cases, the 100 km is not complex and can be done in one continuous length, the 72 km is very complex and may not be capable of one length. ■
Minimum Of Total Length Of Overlanf Conveyor
What I would like to know is the minimum of total length which it might consist of view fleets based on your designed experience or in most cases in the countries ■
Re: Minimum Limit (Length) Of Overland Conveyor
Are you referring to cost (break even?) of conveying cf mobile fleet (trucks etc)?

Minimum Limit Of Olc
no,not refer to cost or break even time but to the existing have been built in countries ■

A Little Knowledge Is .... A Little Knowledge
Searching for clarification of the topic seems to be increasing the implicit confusion.
I suspect a hidden rope trick.■
Minimum Limit Of Olc
Refer to your answer, this is a conveyor with 5m length.
Actually what is the different between Conveyor and Overland conveyor.

Definition Of Overland Belt Conveyor
The definition continues to change and who you talk to.
Often we see specifications read over 1000 m length. Others use terrain complexity such as 300 m long x 100 m up then 300 m down x -100 m might constitute an overland meaning over-the-land.
In the later case, maybe +500 m might due. Then there are the regions of the world, such as Australia, where long is beyond 5 km, and maybe 10 km. I would guess Oz thinks over 3 km might qualify. However, we did a 1.6 km downhill that was called an overland.
Sometimes a sequence of conveyors are labeled "overland system". Maybe 1 and 2 or 3 km in sequence with differing directions fits.
It is what a client makes of it. ■
