TOKYO, Japan – April 12, 2006 – KOTOBUKI INDUSTRIES announced that the Company will exhibit its innovative Nano Mill for dispersion of agglomerated nano particles at NSTI Nanotech 2006 (May 8-9, 2006, Hynes Convention Center, Boston MA) at first time in North America.
KOTOBUKI INDUSTRIES is a premier chemical machinery manufacturer in Japan. The Company has just started sales of its unique nano dispersion machine named ULTRA APEX MILL ( UAM ) in the US after successful sales in Japan and Korea. UAM is a kind of wet grinding media mill with world's leading technology for deagglomeration and dispersion of nano particles. The unique feature of ULTRA APEX MILL is capability of utilizing even ultra fine beads from 50 down to 15µm in diameter thanks to patented CENTRI-SEPARATOR. Which is essential to dispersing agglomerated nano particles.
More than 750 high tech companies visited its R&D Center to do preliminary lab tests. Since its launch in 1995, the Company already delivered about 300 Nano Mills to Japanese and Korean markets and expects to deliver 120 units worldwide in 2006 expanding overseas sales. The applications range from organic pigments for LCD Color Filter and Inkjet Inks to inorganic materials such as TiO2 Photo Catalyst and Anti-UV Cosmetics as well as BaTiO3 Multi-layer Ceramic Capacitors for Cell Phones.
