Deadline extension for submission of abstracts – 7th CHoPS 2012
Dear Sir or Madame,
Many of you have already prepared and submitted abstracts for posters or oral presentations at the 7th International Conference for Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids - CHoPS 2012 in Friedrichshafen, September 10 – 13, 2012.
Nevertheless we have extended the deadline for submission of abstracts to February 14, 2012 to accommodate the CHoPS community with some extra time to prepare abstracts.

Your contribution will make the 7th CHoPS 2012 a major showcase in Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good ideas grow best when you expect them least. The challenge in today's information-rich world is to find them and to bring those people together who can make good ideas grow.
Dedicated to the science, technology, and industry of handling powders and bulk solids, CHoPS 2012 promises to become an excellent opportunity for this to happen.
The CHoPS conference series started in Herzliya, Israel in 1995 and has proven that it can span the bridge between cutting edge science and industrial application. In 2012 the CHoPS conference will e.g. host the PARDEM and PiKo Symposia presenting the first results dedicated to bring Discrete Element Modeling from estimation to validation and application.
The conference will also focus on topics like sustainable production, energy efficiency of processes, plants and machinery, new raw materials and design of particulate products as well as designing flexible, modular equipment. Thus this international conference spans topics from basic scientific research to industrial plants.
