Filter bag selection
Dear Members,
We are working on a project for bag filter system for a boiler which uses briquette as fuel.
Operating Temperature:- 250 /deg.C Maximum
Outlet Emission required:- Less than 50 mg/m
We have chosen fibre glass filter media of 850 /gsm non woven type.
Air to cloth ratio (ACR):- 1.36
Can anybody suggest whether the above selection is good enough for ensuring outlet emission < 50 mg/m.
Also, is the non woven bag with PTFE membrane better than sans PTFE membrane. If yes; how much effective it is in terms of dust collection?
