Main advantages of Taicocite magnesium hydroxide

Gradually replacing PVC based products, HFFR (Polyolefin compounds) is widely applied in areas where smoke and toxic gases emissions are major hazards and strictly regulated, such as underground tunnels, public places, and electric/electronic wire/cables, etc.

These compounds are produced at high temperatures, up to 300°C; therefore these are materials where common ATH based flame retardants cannot be applied, due to its comparatively low temperature of decomposition (Final products could become porous because of untimely decomposition of ATH).

Currently many manufacturers produce these compounds on the basis of magnesium hydroxide flame retardants. The comparatively higher decomposition temperature of magnesium hydroxide allows producing products at higher processing temperatures, thus providing solid products.
