Opole, Poland – AprilL 10, 2014 - Hapman, an industrial manufacturer of bulk material handling equipment with worldwide manufacturing facilities, announced attendance at the Solids 2014 trade show for powder & bulk solids technologies. The show, held at Messe Westfalenhallen in Dortmund, is the right place for Hapman to showcase conveying and material handling equipment for all major dry bulk processors. Hapman is located at stand C18 and will feature the Tubular Drag Chain Conveyor and the En-Masse Drag conveyor. Both conveyors offer superior operating principles for dry solids, low energy consumption, and sealed housings for material and dust control.
The En-Masse Drag Conveyor uses a stationary drive with an engineered drop-forged chain that moves material volumes of up to 1,000 TPH in a single unit. The En-masse principle allows the footprint of the conveyor to remain small compared to a belt conveyor or other similar conveying types. The engineered chain and flight design provides a highly dependable, long-lasting conveyor.
The Tubular Drag Chain Conveyor uses an engineered chain and flight assembly with a drive and sprocket used to pull material through the sealed housing. This conveyor ranges in size from 76mm to 300mm, quietly and effectively conveying material that varies from delicate beans and pellets, to gravel and large particle minerals. The Tubular Drag Chain Conveyor can move material over long distances and across planes. The Chain Drag conveyor will not segregate blended materials and offers many layout options to fit existing plant infrastructure. “Hapman has served the chemical, plastics, food, minerals processing, and building/construction industries for more than 60 years.
