As we know more and more country take important attention to Fly ash and there are many ways to use this waste such as fly ash brick .

But I want to know is Fly ash brick popular with the market?

Because there is not all country use coal to get energy in Middle East counties they do not use coal .

'Dustron' For The Dust Suppression In Mining

Posted on 27. Oct. 2007 - 03:41

We also have the pleasure to inform you that we are manufacturing specialty chemicals for various industrial applications. We have Dust Suppression products range 'DUSTRON' for the dust suppression in mining operation for haulage road in open cast mines and for the bulk material handling systems.

We have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Central Mining Research Institute (CMRI) Dhanbad, India which is a part of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Govt. of India. CMRI is the world recognized institute for the research in the field of mining operation.

The following products are approved and accepted by the Indian Mining Industries since last 10 years for better environmental and mining conditions.

1. DUSTRON PC Compound: For the open cast mines haul road where the dust emission is because of heavy earth movers of high capacity trucks Dozzer, Tippler etc. DUSTRON PC is used for various classes of mines in India for dust suppression in the mines as below.

(1) Iron Ore Mines

(2) Zinc Mines

(3) Lime Stone Mines

(4) Copper/Chromite Mines

2. DUSTRON PC COAL: For the open cast mines haul road of collieries, railway sidings and coal jetty's road of the ports.

3. DUSTRON PC LIGNITE: For the haulage roads of lignite open cast mines.

4. DUSTRON XT: This product is used for the dust suppression of bulk material handling system where at the transfer point crusher house, dumper platform dust emission is heavy, so along with

water spray DUSTRON XT is used to control dust emission.

5. DUSTRON XT COAL: For bulk material handling system of conveyors, dumper platform, wagon tipplers of open cast/ under ground mines, Thermal power plants and coal jetty on the port trust.

All the above products are used in Indian mining industries to control dust for better environment & working conditions which produce a number of advantages.

We hope that you might be consuming a product for similar application. It will be helpful to know that "Using DUSTRON range of products equals to a savings of water by 40%" with other benefits.

We ensure you to provide the best services and technical back-up to your mines for dust suppression applications. Please contact us at nrdindustries@gmail.com for more information regarding the information mentioned above or enclosed within. Thanking you in advance for your time and hoping to hear from you soon.

Fly Ash Bricks

Poularity of Fly Ash Bricks is every where but manufacturing of Fly ash bricks will be profitable/logical where this is available.Country like India where it is available freely/at very low price about 0.6 to 0.8 US $per tonne. This will be logical to put up a plant for the same in India but putting up a plant in Gulf countries will not be logical. In Gulf countries it is logical to import the same from nearby countries like India and mix with cement to make PPC.By doing like this the investment will be very less and profit shall be between US $30-35 tonnes- depends upon the various factors.I think it is even far better to import the same from India instead of putting up a new green field cement plant(in gulf countries) where initial investments are very huge.

Fly Ash Brick

Miss Hanyi,

That is a question you should be asking the building trades journals rather than this forum as we concentrate on movement and methods of movement of bulk materials rather than the end use of bulk materials.

Soft coal fly ash is either generated by a stoker coal fired plant with large clinkers/coal waste or a pulverised coal plant with much fly ash dust that muist be pumped with water after dropping out of the boiler airflow and the processed/delivered to the waste stream/sanitary land fill

Hgh volumes of low BTU soft coals and HIgh BTU metallurgical grades of coal are burned in both pulveriser and stoker fed coal steam plants for both electricty and steam generation generating large amounts of fly ash that is collected in bag houses and removed for disposal.

Fly ash also has heavy metal contaminants in its waste byproduct and the heavy metals leach out so you really do not want something like that near the public domain.

Its fine to mix cement mud and compress material to make cement bricks, cinder blocks and paving bricks but most if not cement block and brick making companies no longer use cinder waste and we do not know how wel the enviromental facts that remain unknown as we have not been using pulverised fly ash waste that long in end use products to determine its effects on the environment, humans and wildlife.

Bricks From Ash

In Johannesburg we had an enterprising engineer who obtained rights to an abandoned ash dump from the local power station. He set up a block making plant. The ash was rich in pozzalite. so did not need much extra cement.

He also set up a building contracting company and built thousands of homes from ash cement blocks.

It works if you know how to do it.

Dear Sofiahanyi,

NTPC Dadri power station, located near Delhi has installed elaborate stacking and reclaiming system for ash. The system is for creation of huge stockpile using even shiftable conveyor. Possibly, this is meant for sell to the users of this item. It is also probable that brick manufacturers could be one of the users. To know more about this, I suggest you to refer to NTPC or your representatives / professional friends near Delhi to enquire about the matter.
