Big-Bag-Handling
Filling, transport, sluices or unloading – inexpensive or with increased requirements to the hygienic standard. Derichs has an appropriate solution for almost every requirement.
At the Powtech 2014 Derichs shows the Big-Bag unloading station LEBS. As a result of an optimized hygienic design, the unloading station especially is suitable for the use in food and pharma plants.

Continuous mixer MKP
Continuous production process requires high demands to the dosage accuracy and constancy. The continuous mixer of the series MKP is suitable for continuous mixing of flowable bulk materials and for the admixture of liquids.
In combination with differential dosing devices DDA it is possible to use the continuous mixer MKP for mixtures of several solid components and small liquid parts.
The dwell time and the intensity of the mixture can be influenced by different parameters.

Mixing different products fast and gentle in a few seconds is offered in different sizes.
The hygienic design fulfills the requirements for CIP-wet cleaning. Also in-between wet cleaning, the large, both side motorized inspection doors enabled a well and ergonomic dry cleaning and an optimal accessibility for inspection.
This new feature is very well received. For example by the mixing of powder coating or baby food a simply and thoroughly cleaning in-between two charges with different recipes is most important.

Sieve Crusher ZBS
The sieve crusher is used after unloading of sacks and big-bags, before entering to a pneumatically conveying, after a belt- or drum dryer, after a mixer with fluid input or before filling into sacks or big-bags. It is particularly suitable to crush product agglomerates and –lumps. Other than the lump crasher ZBK the sieve crusher has a quickly changeable sieve, which ensures a defined maximum grain diameter.

Allocator DSZ
The allocator DSZ is particularly suitable for the dosed transmission of bulk material. For example it can be used as dosing unit at a big-bag-filling device or as feeding unit ahead of a sieve machine or suction conveying system. Because of gap dimensions and production tolerances it is not intended in exchange for a classic discharge- or rotary valve, but it is an inexpensive alternative for simply tasks with hygienic requirements.

Graded in useful sizes and equipable with different dosing screws, several versions are available. The size is modular structured and it is possible to adjust it at the individual tasks at a later time, for example if you have to respond to special product properties.
A unique feature is the fast cleaning option, which makes it possible to pull the dosing screw and the stirrer completely out of the unit. That makes an easy cleaning possible within short time.
By using of further components, for example material feeding systems and mixer a complete mixing plant can be created.

Sampler DPE - DPH – DPS - DPA
Simple sampling or according to GMP-guidelines: Derichs sampler will be used to take powder- or granulate samples from drop pipes and hoppers.
On one of the photos: The sampler DPH, which is particularly suitable to use in the food – and pharma industry, because it is quickly to dismantle and can be completely wet cleaned.
A customer-specific sample container can be connected.

Lump Crusher ZBK - in twin screw design available
The lump crusher ZBK is a simply, robust unit to crush lumps at the dust output of a filter plant, to crush frozen mixtures, to dissolve agglomerates after a sack- or big-bag unloading station, to crush pressed tabs, which have to feed again into the production process.
The easy accessibility simplify maintenance and cleaning. A reasonable bearing with air flushing protect the bearing and provides controlled hygienic conditions.

In the year 1989 the „European Hygienic Engineering & Design-Group“, a community of manufacturers of machines and components and experts of the food industry and research, founded. Their main task is to contribute the safe production of food by improvement of the hygienic construction. For that the EHEDG-guidelines get compiled, which formulate and certify the requirements at components and plants.
Food and hygienic design has been the main focus of the work at Derichs since the beginning in 1818.
