Call for Abstracts
Authors wishing to present a paper or poster at the CHOPS 2015 Conference are invited to submit an abstract electronically to the Conference Secretariat, Ortra Ltd., via this website by September 18, 2014.
Please note that an online submission is required for submissions to be considered.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please prepare your abstract in Word and then copy and paste the information in the appropriate cells in the online form.
Abstracts should not exceed 480 words including abstract title and body.
Abstract title should not exceed 20 words and be in CAPS.
Images, maximum one, should be uploaded separately using the system to the appropriate location in the text. Special symbols are supported.
Multiple submissions by the same presenter are possible. Please re-enter the system with your email and password supplied when you first registered to the submission system and click on: "Submit a new Abstract Submission Form
by ...".
Please note that only Abstracts submitted through the online submission form will be considered:
The duration of each lecture is 20 minutes, following by 5 minutes for discussion.
A separate dedicated PC computer will be available to run presentations in the lecture hall. Uploading your presentation to this computer will allow smooth running of the program.
If you intend to use this computer please make sure your presentation is on one Microsoft® PowerPoint file, integrating all text, graphics and videos. To save time, please bring your presentation on a CD-ROM or flash disk (USB) and hand it to the technician on site
Poster Presentations
Each day a 50 minute long poster sessions will take place.
The size of the presentation area for each poster is 1 m (height) and 0.90 m (width). We suggest using a minimum font size of 20pt. Posters will be mounted on boards by pins supplied by the organizers.
Additional Information for Abstract Submission:
• Presentations should be structured to allow audience participation, questions, and discussion (as appropriate).
• At least one presenter from each accepted abstract should register to the Conference in order to be included in the final program.
• Each participant may present two papers at the most.
• Expenses for travel and attendance including registration fee, are the responsibility of each presenter.

Submission of Full Paper January 15th , 2015
All papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, which will be distributed among the participants at the beginning of the Conference. No copyrights are requested at this stage. Papers will not go through a review process and therefore the contents are the responsibility of the authors.
Only selected papers will be reviewed after the conference and will be published in special issues of some peer-reviewed journals.
Language: The official language of the Conference is English.
The chain of CHoPS conferences was started in 1995 in Israel. The first three were national conferences and took place in Herzeliya (1995), Jerusalem (1997) and the Dead-Sea (2000). Since they attracted many international participants, it became an international event that take place every three years. Since then four events took place in Budapest (2003), Sorrento (2006), Brisbane (2009) and Friedrichshafen (2012). Now, at the age of 20 years, when CHoPS become a leading scientific conference on handling and processing of bulk solids, it returns to visit Israel again.
For this time, Tel-Aviv was selected to host the next CHoPS-2015. Tel-Aviv is a city which "never sleeps" and is the cultural center of Israel. The event will take place at the vicinity of the beautiful Medeterian Sea beach. Tel-Aviv is rich in cultural and free time activities.
The conference is aimed to bring together scientists and industrialists to exchange knowledge and ideas. It will cover all topics of particle technology and therefore enable the participant not only being updated with recent developments and investigations in their fields of expertise, but also to be enriched with related topics. In order to do that, the program will have four parallel oral sessions as well as poster sessions. Moreover, as is tradition in CHoPS conferences we will have many plenary and keynote lectures from international experts on various topics.
CHoPS-2015 will not only be a great scientific event but also a most pleasant and memorable experience for everybody. As we believe that the social events provide a great opportunity for the participants to maintain relationship with their friends and also know new ones, a rich social activity is expected. In order to spend the time in Israel efficiently, pre and post conference tours will be offered. During the conference, dinners will be provided almost every evening (one of them will take place in Jerusalem). We don't forget the accompanying persons for which tourist activity during the conference days will be offered.
We therefore invite you to mark CHoPS-2015 as your event for the year of 2015 and look forward to welcoming you in Tel-Aviv.
