Huaxia HHE new steel cord conveyor belt

Concept:

Saving transportation cost of per ton of material

Product Features:

Through innovation of steel cord structure of steel cord conveyor beltreducing the steel diameter and spacingachieve characteristics of thin belt body, lightweight, good flexibility*, stress uniformity, small sag resistance.

Take St3500 for exampleordinary steel cord conveyor belt’s thickness is 24.6mmweighing 43.8kg/m2, new HHE steel cord conveyor belt’s thickness is 16.5mm decreasing by 33% than ordinary steel cord conveyor beltweighing 22.7 kg/m2 which decreases by 48% than ordinary.

Advantages:

1. More than 60% of energy consumption is due to the sag resistance to idlers during conveyor running. Stress of each steel cord of HHE belt is uniform, making sag resistance smaller. That can reduce energy consumption and wear to bottom cover.

2. With pulley of smaller diameter, increasing idler spacing, reducing the motor power by 30%, reducing investment of transportation system.

3. With good troughability, solving poor troughability of the relatively narrow conventional steel cord conveyor. Suitable for deep-V design and pipe conveyor belt;

4. With tightly packed steel cords, smaller pitch than the traditional steel reinforcement. All steel cords are formed under tension and not easy to be pierced by sharp material;

5. Single roll length increases to 500-600m, reducing splicing number.

Dear Linda:

A couple of points:

1. 70 % if rolling resistance is consumed by bottom cover indention by idler rolls - can be decreased by superior rubber properties.

2. We can design belt today with 7 x 5 cover and 6.5 mm diameter cord that achieves ST-3500 N/mm. What are your covers?

3. Belt reels shipped from China to South Africa with 1000 m/reel for 27 km overland being installed
