Now in its second generation, the Series K2 Powered Iris Valves have been specifically designed for automatic and remote applications, complimenting the popular hand operated versions.
The Mucon range of Iris diaphragm valves has for over sixty years been associated with the control of powders, granules, capsules and pellets to the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Food processing sectors.

The new K2P powered Iris Valve Technology from Mucon
The Series K2P has been specifically developed for applications requiring high levels of hygiene. This particular range of Iris valves utilises a patented, moulded diaphragm technology already employed throughout the K-Valve range.
Mucon Engineers understand the needs and requirements of their customers’, especially with regards to their demands for a valve which offers quick disconnection, ease of cleaning, hygienic design coupled with product reliability and control system integration.
All valve body parts are manufactured from 316 stainless steel as standard. White moulded diaphragms can be produced from Natural Rubber, EPDM and Silicone in order to suit most product applications. All diaphragms in the Series K2P range are manufactured from FDA approved materials.
