Coperion K-Tron Pitman Moves Its Address But Not Its Location
Pitman, NJ, USA (Oct. 3, 2013) - Coperion K-Tron Pitman, Inc. today announced a new postal address, though its physical location remains the same as it has been for more than a quarter century. The new address is 590 Woodbury Glassboro Road, Sewell, NJ 08080 USA.
When K-Tron moved to its current location in 1985, it had a Pitman postal address since the facility is located just a block north of the Pitman borough line, and Pitman had the nearest post office. Since it had no street address at the time, the company used the intersection of the two highways it borders, routes 55 and 553, for its Pitman address.
The Pitman address worked fine until visitors started using GPS devices to guide them to the facility, at which point the company requested an official postal address. By this time a post office had been opened in Sewell, and so without moving its location the company now had a totally new address. For some years they used two addresses-a Pitman P.O. Box number and a Sewell street address.
"With our new branding strategy and name change from K-Tron to Coperion K-Tron, we decided this is a good time to change over to a single address," Robert Wisniewski, VP & Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Coperion K-Tron Pitman Inc. said. "It reduces confusion and makes it easier for visitors to find us," he said.
