This international conference is organised jointly by the Australian Society for Bulk Solids Handling (ASBSH), the Centre for Bulk Solids and Particulate Technologies and TUNRA Bulk Solids at The University of Newcastle. It is one of the most important events in the ASBSH calendar and promises to follow the long-standing tradition of very successful international technical events organised by the Society. In addition, this conference will mark the 30th Anniversary of this conference series with the first conference being held in Newcastle in 1983 chaired by Professor Alan Roberts.
The conference will bring together many of the key researchers and practitioners in the field worldwide for three days of excellent presentations, discussion and networking. Our aim is to create a forum to review the state-of-the-art with respect to research and development and to promote an exchange of ideas between researchers and practitioners.
The Conference will be of particular interest to a wide range of industries including:
• Mining and mineral production and processing
• Chemical and petrochemical process industries
• Agricultural crop production and processing
• Food industry
• Power generation
