Dust Suppression Additive Chemical Selection

Posted in: , on 3. Aug. 2012 - 22:41

Hello Everybody

I'm looking for laboratory tests or assays for dust suppressors quality and efficiency, actually we have a chemical selection process for our pet coke stockpiles dust suppressor and sealant additive. Any information or literature about this will be usefull.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, we can certainly help you. Could you email me the particle size, type of coke detail on jpanchal@ajedmondco.com?

Hello Everybody

We are interested to know what specifications can be used to evaluate the efficiency of the chemical additive for the dust supression wet spray system for petcoke stockpiles. Some years ago we try to make tests on the real stockpiles but the atmosferical conditions do not allow the same conditions for all the test period. Actually we are looking for laboratory tests (measurement of variables) associated to the efficiency of this chemicals e.g. density, surface tension, wetability, etc. ¿what are the most important variables to measure? ¿what could be the metods to determine it? and ¿What's the target for any of this variables?

Thanks a lot.
