The high expectations which both sides set at the time for this partnership were entirely fulfilled. Franz-Walter Aumund, head of the AUMUND Group headquartered in Rheinberg and Jörg Hoffmann, managing director at SCHADE in Herne until September, completely agree on this point. „Without the global network and the economic potential of the Group we would not have been able to grow so strongly over the past years“, Hoffmann glances back positively. Important business segments which have been focused on over the last ten years, apart from the cement industry, were the core business in the power station sector as well as the - in part - rapidly growing fertiliser industry. „The last decade has been moulded not least by the continuous technological development in environmentally friendly circular storage as well as by the particularly high-performance stockyard and blending bed systems“, confirmed the technical managing director of SCHADE Lagertechnik, Dr. Wolfram Grafe. He forms the new management team in Herne with Karl-Heinz Fiegenbaum who joined in July when Jörg Hoffmann took over a new management role within the group. Grafe and Fiegenbaum are sure that the coming years will also be strongly defined by further company growth. Many areas in bulk handling are moving fast. In the future SCHADE wishes to meet this dynamism with both economically and ecologically optimum solutions and maximise opportunities to also gain a foothold in new industrial sectors for the recognised, reliable products from Herne.
