Eriez Join the BIR (Bureau of International Recycling)

Eriez Magnetics Europe Ltd has successfully become members of the BIR (Bureau of International Recycling). The BIR is a non-profit organisation which was founded in 1948. It was the first federation to support the interests of the recycling industry on an international scale and today represents over 750 member companies from the private sector and 40 national associations in more than 70 countries. Together, these companies form the largest international recycling federation.

For Eriez, being a member of the BIR will bring them many benefits that they can use to their advantage. It will allow them to share the experiences and knowledge of other members and use this to further improve their own knowledge and understanding of the ever changing and growing recycling industry.

In the last six months Eriez have already improved their Recycling department with the addition of a dedicated recycling sales and service team and three new product launches. These include a RevX-E Eccentric Eddy Current Separator, ProSort II Airless Metal Recovery System and a PRex Super Strength Permanent Magnetic Scrap Drum. Carlton Hicks, Sales Executive-Recycling commented, “This is just the start of a big year in recycling for Eriez. Along with the already successful product launches of the last few months we [Eriez] have more exciting new products to be launched in the upcoming months. The addition of the new BIR membership will help with all future product releases as we [Eriez] will be able to ensure we meet the requirements of the dynamically changing recycling industry.”
