FILTRATION: A vital part of our Clean Energy future

International Conference

19 May 2011

Finding clean, sustainable, sources of energy is one of the biggest challenges facing mankind. At present, and for the foreseeable future, it seems unlikely that there will be a single solution to this challenge, so it must be met by a number of approaches - including energy from waste, hydro, wind, and tidal power, solar, nuclear (fission/fusion) and bio-fuels as well as making the most effective and clean use of remaining fossil fuel resources. This one day international seminar looks at the vital role that filtration plays in enabling a number of these approaches. The speakers will describe their work in this area, highlighting the progress already made and identifying the challenges ahead.

The Filtration Society invites you to register for the one-day international conference or the Short Course (or both). The speakers on both the short course and the conference are all international experts in their own right and will pass on their knowledge and valuable information about filter testing.
