The weighing products company Jesma Vejeteknik in Vejle, has developed a new automated weighing and metal detection system, JesCheck.

With this new and completely automated belt system, the process of weighing and detecting metals has been simplified and minimized. Two machines have literally come together as one. JesCheck is a combined checkweigher and metal detector, which meets the industry’s demand for effectiveness. The system contributes to improve the customer’s production, as 2 processes take place simultaneously.
In all its simplicity, JesCheck works in the way that products are weighed, while being checked for unwanted metals. The system is designed for use with conveyor belts and is easy to integrate into existing product lines.

The metal detector has a control unit which is fully programmable, so subsequent requests/changes can be easily implemented. The possibilities are almost endless. New products are easily implemented with the automated product learning function, where all the parameters are automatically set-up and stored in the memory for later use. The metal detector continuously carry out self-checks and sends out an error message if an error should occur.
