Key Technology Appoints Joel Bustos as Senior Vice President of Global Operations



June 15, 2010Key Technology announces the appointment of Joel Bustos as Senior Vice President of Global Operations. Bustos is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of Key’s operations in support of the company’s overall strategic objectives to deliver world-class automated inspection, specialized conveying, and product preparation systems to customers.

“With his extensive experience leading international operations and establishing global procurement and supply chains for technology-driven businesses, Joel is ideally qualified to take this leadership position at Key,” noted David Camp, President and CEO of Key Technology. “He has demonstrated his talent for managing operations to achieve increased efficiencies and profitability. Based on his skills and experience, we are confident that he will make a strong contribution to Key and deliver tremendous value to our customers.”

Bustos brings 19 years of business and operational leadership experience to his position at Key. Most recently, he was Vice President of Operations at Aehr Test Systems. Previously, he was with Celestica Corporation where he was General Manager of the Consumer Business Unit and General Manager of the company’s San Jose facility. Prior to that, he was General Manager of New England Operations for Flextronics International, Ltd. He holds bachelor’s degree in human relations from the University of San Francisco.
