Thank you,

Depends on:

Auger flighting angle

Auger flighting distance between flights

Auger flighting thickness

Auger radius if a solid auger is used

Auger center shaft outside diameter

Auger with tube

Auger without tube and simply spilling

open center hydraulic system

closed center hydraulic system

size of hydraulic pump

size of hydraulic motor needed to rotate the chain sprocket or auger to provide the torque to rotate X auger, with A diameter, F radius, with N auger length with a simple baseline flow under no load conditions.

roller chain gauge

sprocket sizes- drive and driven

drive motor speed under loading

what size chain drive with sprockets

direct drive motor

Design of the hopper

How big an inclined hopper floor

Or no inclined hopper floor and an auger that crosses the floor and returns

Tapered hopper with auger along the long side of the narrow taper.

An auger to to slinger conveyor.

mason sand

concrete sand

moist sand

Wet sand

frozen sand

Dry sand

gravel sand

asphault make up sand from stone

The narrower the flighting height and the shallower the angle give you the ability to load the auger and you are only dealing with the smaller volume between each flight at each rotation.

Your dealing with a sack and a half of weight(120 pounds) and roughly 1 cubic foot of material.

Now that I have done your home work why are you asking when you could have found all this?

Leave a box of ccokies on the stoop.
