Rulmeca Tianjin, part of the global RULMECA Group of Companies, was present at China Coal & Mining Expo 2009, China’s 13th International Technology Exchange & Equipment Exhibition on Coal & Mining held from the 27th to the 30th of October 2009 in Beijing, P.R. China.
Rulmeca Tianiin attracted a great interest and attention especially of Chinese customers towards the new widened thermoplastic rollers range and Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys.
Among thermoplastic rollers range we highlight the new TOP roller, a light, strong, eco-friendly solution, being a totally thermoplastic roller with the exception of the steel in the ball bearing and the shaft.
Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys have a higher efficiency from the electrical motor to the shell than exposed drives due to fewer frictional losses allowing efficiencies of up to 97%. Maintenance is minimal, requiring an oil change only every 10,000 operating hours or five years of single shaft operation. Being lighter than most conventional drives, Rulmeca Motorized Pulleys can help reduce the cost of a conveyor’s structure because the weight is evenly distributed within the conveyor frame.
