December 10, 2009 – Key Technology, Inc. introduces a new five-year warranty on Smart Shaker® vibratory conveyors manufactured at Key Technology BV, the company’s European operation. The new five-year limited warranty comes standard on Iso-Flo® vibratory shakers and Impulse™ electromagnetic shakers shipped to customers in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Extending the standard warranty from three years to five years, Key Technology BV assures customers will experience superior equipment reliability while limiting the total cost of ownership to maximize the long-term return on capital investments.
During the first year of the new warranty, Key provides full coverage of major components such as the pan, frame, and supports, as well as all wear parts, including replacement or repair labor for the pan and frame. In years two through five, Key provides coverage of major components, including replacement or repair labor for the pan and frame. This warranty is valid when the shaker has been run within design specifications and maintained according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
Iso-Flo Vibratory Conveyors
Key’s Iso-Flo vibratory conveyors achieve gentle product handling and enhance sanitation while improving equipment dependability. The stainless steel Iso-Flo shakers satisfy the most stringent sanitation demands in the industry, meeting EHEDG guidelines and HACCP requirements. Scalloped flat bars, sealed isolation springs and a smooth 2B surface finish discourage bacteria growth. Controls are housed in an IP66 rated enclosure.
