Selamat pagi,
I can design you a grab unloading system which will unload a barge or ship & place the coal in storage or on the seagoing bulker for a quite modest fee. My development will quadruple the throughput of anything else you will be offered & use half the power. That is why you will have to leave a private message. ■

Understanding Floating Coal Storage
Dear All,
I'm the student of Naval Architecture in Indonesia. We have assignment to design coal floating storage. Given a ship ex tanker 150.000 ton, and it will be modified to be a barge storage that can load coal any time to mother ship without waiting a coal barge. Because if it waiting the barge, it will take 7 days for unloading/loading to mother vessels. Now, we want the barge can unload its coal to floating storage at any time and also the floating storage can load its coal to mother vessel, but its process need only 2-3 days not 7 days as usual. We lack of information and also design of crane and conveyor that can comply owner requirement (2-3 days for loading coal to mother vessel). Please give us information about design of conveyor and crane, also the grab and its specification. what The best design? using Crane or conveyor??
Thanks
