Stacker Reclaimer

Hello Guddu,

As I doubt the design has changed much--

they have a slewing ring gear with a spur gear driven

by one or more hydraulic motors with or without

gearbox reduction.

Sorry, but its been a while since I looked at them.

Dear Mr lzaharis

Great to have your response. Here is teh few quiries regrding stacker reclaimer , and hoping to have your proactive response as always

1)In stacjer reclaimer design criteria , what is the significance of wind velocity (in operating & non operating condition) . Iam working for some tender in coal handling plant , and come across this concept . Generally the wind velocity being considered is 39m/s for as a design criteria

2)Secondly I still didn’t understand what is mean by the swing mechanism in this machine

3)In apron feeder , how it is being differentiate against belt conveyor , in terms of functional requirement and working principle

Why not just post the tender and we can all have a look?

Are you buying or selling?

The concept of slipping in extra questions after the original one is certainly not new to forum members.
