Bow Effect

Dear Experts,

When a new conveyor belt is offered for inspection by the belt manufacturer, how can we be sure that there will be no bow effect present on the conveyor? When the belt is transferred from one roll to another roll, the belt is visually checked for any defects. But I doubt whether the bow effect can be found out. What could be the reasons for this?

Thanks & Regards,

Not clear of your meaning "bow effect".

Bow can be transverse to belt axis, like making the belt look like a pipe, or can be axis becomes bowed, or can becomed vertically bowed.
