Schwedes + Schulze Schüttguttechnik GmbH has completed its move into a renovated, appealing historic building in Wolfenbüttel, a town close to Braunschweig, where the company had been leasing space in the former Voigtländer photographic instruments plant complex. The new location allows the company to improve conditions for powder testing and communication, and it is closer to several partners. Furthermore, the new location offers a more comfortable atmosphere for training sessions, customer meetings and, certainly, for Schwedes + Schulze’s own staff.
Schwedes + Schulze Schüttguttechnik GmbH is a consultant company focused on the handling of powders and bulk solids. This includes, among others, powder testing (e.g., measurement of flowability, internal friction, wall friction), comparative tests, design of hoppers and silos for trouble-free operation, and the determination of flow properties required for silo design for strength according to the present standards on silo loads like DIN 1055 part 6. Beside the elaboration of design proposals for silos and other bulk handling equipment, also troubleshooting and retrofitting of existing equipment is offered by Schwedes + Schulze Schüttguttechnik GmbH.
