Cement Mill And Plant

Erstellt am 27. Sep. 2009 - 11:45

Anil is correct in everything he is telling you and asking preliminary questions

depend on so many things such as currency exchange rates, available insurance

for materials and machineries, contracts and structure of contracts such as cost plus provisional contracts

A cement factories costs of operation are established in the cement factory overhead cost

per month or day of operation and this is not something that can be addressed in a

new plant adequately until it is fully commsioned and its asset value can be established

to properly create depreciation expense accounts for the buildings.

The physical plant being

fuel depot for coal or other fuels

ball mills or wet grinding cicuits

heaters

coolers,

conveyors for raw mix

rotary kiln

storage silos for finished product, aggregate, primary ingredients for specialty cements.

after kiln conveyors to cooling and then storage

packaging machinery-

valve pack bagging machinery or sewn bag packaging plants

Your question, though in detail leaves out to much information in many aspects.

what is your available estimated budget, what about unseen budget contingencies?

will you have money for cost overruns?

Do you own property that can support the size of a cement factory and mill?

Is it your intention to bag cement product as well for the small markets?

do you intend to install exhaust gas control systems/bag houses to control exhaust

stack pollution from the Dioxins created by the heating process

Do have access to or own clay and or shale deposits for the rawmix?

what is quality of available sand or will you make your own sand?

What available limestone do you own or have access to?

what available silica supply is available?

Do you own a limestone quarry ? are its reserves capable of supplying 1,500,000 tons or raw aggregate per year?

Do you own crushing equipment and storage for the raw aggregate?

Do you own the required mining machinery-being drills, mining shovels, and haul trucks

for short distance transport of broken ore?,

Do you own mineral rights that can produce the primary aggregate needed for the cement

factory and millfor your desired capacity?

deo you own a gypsum deposit or have acces to one?

Do you have a guaranteed available market and supply contracts and or marketing strategy

for you desired amount of production per week?

Do you knoiw what type of cement you even desire to manufacture?

portland cement

cement mixes including sand mix for bagged cement mix sales

hydraulic renders

hydraulic mortars

cement blends such as

colored or white cement

blast furnace cement

flyash cement

pozzolan cement

portland silica fume cement

masonry cements

expansive cements

Do you have access to rail or a railroad right of way to transport your cement to port or end users?

Do you have access to a supply of used tires for additional kiln fuel?

Do you have access to water for wet grinding of cement ore? This is the most efficient method

versus dry grinding of the two.

Oil is the least efficient method and most costly method of heating the rotary kiln-

high btu bituminous metallurgical grade coal is the fuel for optimum heat BTU.

used tires are added for fuel in the rotary kiln as well which adds

carbon fuel and reduces tire waste to managable levels.

You should spend time investigating the cement manufacturing associations web site and attend

the annual meets of the cement manufatcurers associations in nearby countries or in europe and the united states

to better understand what is required for project of this type.

You need to do research before you ask questions as you initial querry is too expansive to be answered adequately here.

Interesting, have you got past the prelimenary stages yet?? Realistically you have probably missed the 'bubble' as there is a global Cement Glut at the moment.

We can supply Iraq Cement and even offer you a Trading Agent option if you have a buyers mandate or wish to operate as a Cement Broker. Incidently we are probably the most competitively priced (FOB and CIF) Cement Suppliers to this region and we sure as hell are the most professional!
