WCPT6 2010 –

The World Congress on Particle Technology

Final call for papers expires 15 September 2009

The World Congress on Particle Technology, WCPT6 2010, takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg parallel to the POWTECH and TechnoPharm exhibitions from 26–29 April 2010. WCPT has been the world congress for all sectors concerned with particle technology for decades.

Next year’s World Congress on Particle Technology (WCPT) includes the PARTEC Congress and takes place for the first time parallel to POWTECH and TechnoPharm. This world congress will concentrate and discuss the latest findings and experiences from all segments of particle technology, when over 1,500 scientists from all over the world compare their research findings on the four days of the event.

“Together with POWTECH, the world’s largest exhibition for powder and bulk solids technology, WCPT is next year’s outstanding scientific forum for sourcing information on particle technology,” says Claus Rättich, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse. The aim of WCPT is not only to present scientific findings, but also to promote the exchange of views and meetings between the various disciplines and between universities and industry.

Delft University of Technology and the company DSM, both from the Netherlands, are responsible for the technical organization of the congress.

The topics of the conference held in English are: aerosol science and technology, nanoparticles, models and simulation of particulate systems, granulation, and science and engineering of particulate processes.

The last World Congress on Particle Technology took place in Florida, USA, from 23–27 April 2006. More than 700 participants from all over the world met to hear the many lectures and discuss the posters on display. More information at:
