International Conference “Industrial Bag and Sacks”
For the third consecutive time, PAYPER was invited to take part in the International Conference “Industrial Bags & Sacks 2009” held in Cologne (Germany) at the beginning of June, organised by AMI Applied Market Information Ltd., a very well known English consultancy in the plastic industry.
AMI invites PAYPER every year as an international company specialized in Bagging Systems. PAYPER talk for this year was entitled “Bags, bulk products and bagging systems” and consisted of a general overview of the most common industrial bagging solutions depending on the bag to be used and the type of product: open-mouth bag, valve bag or FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) bag, this last one being the most important as it is a very usual application in the chemical and petrochemical industries, and also for products such as salt, sugar…
The Conference “Industrial Bags and Sacks” counts every year on speakers from different important companies related to bags industry: suppliers of raw materials such as Borealis, Dow, Novamont Bioplastics, Sun Chemical, …; manufacturers of bag producing equipments like Kieffel, Khune, Starlinger, Windmoeller & Holsher, …; and manufacturers of bagging systems such as PAYPER, Fischbein…. So that means that there was an important range of ideas and new trends of the industry shared during those two days of conferences.
Among the companies attending the event we could find the most representative European, Near East and Golf companies related to the plastics and bags industry.
To sum up, we consider that this Conference is an important and necessary meeting point for the industrial bags field and we would like to thank AMI to give us the opportunity to take part in it.
