Impact Pad Support Cradle

Are there any standards for the cradle of Impact pads ? Since the cost of the assembly as well as the durability depends largely on the cradle, can someone provide me with inputs regarding -

a) Standards / norms employed for design of impact pad cradles, and

b) Some examples (drawings / sketches) of cost-effective cradles

Thanks

Just below the impact area, we are removing the impact idlers frames out side. Removing the idlers. Fixing the impact bars by welding on those frames. Finally we are fixing back this assembly to take care of the impact load.

A few thoughts:

- breaking of idler assemblies can be caused by numerous reasons:

- DROPPING from too high onto the assemblies

- IMPACT idler centres could be too far c to c, move closer together

- think about install grizzly top above impact area if feasible

- slider beds can be put in by themselves or in conjunction with impact rollers

- if you need some spec, i would be happy to PDF something for you
