You need to worry about all the pulley face widths that support the belt and the clearance within the discharge chute. You also need to know there is sufficient clearance on the return strand between vertical supports.

All of the above need further allowance for belt tracking error or about 6% of the new belt width plus the other clearances the belt was designed for. ■

are you going to keep the 650 belt or going to use 800 belt?

would you like to keep the capacity as it is, then you need not to change the 650 into 800??!! ■

Capacity of 100 T of coal with sp.gr of .8 will decide size and speed of belt. Heavier limestone will have less volume so will be carried without difficulty.

650 mm wide belt is adequate for handling 100 T of sized coal or crushed limestone.

You have not mentioned size range of materials to be handled. ■
