Colortronic has recently introduced the ‘new’ family of synchronous dosing units.
The synchronous dosing system by Colortronic (CSD) was first developed back in the early 1990’s with the introduction of the Colorblend ‘disc’ blender.
The Colorblend was probably the world’s first synchronous disc blender and provided many advantages over a traditional screw type unit, these being:
•Synchronous dosing (no separation of materials)
•Synchronous dosing (no mixer is required)
•Dosing disc (no pulsing/surge of material)
•Dosing disc (accurate even at low rates)
•Defined volume discs (quick calibration routine)
The new generation of Colorblend/Synchroblend is a family using an easy to use modern Touch screen control for 1-6 additives.
This, combined with modern drive motors with inbuilt control and feedback, gives customers a cost saving unit which can pay back in the shortest possible time and is available in both gravimetric and volumetric versions.
