A toothed roll crusher should be able to give you less fines than the other listed equipment. The impactor will give you the most fines and a cone should be somewhere in between.

Depending on the characteristics(UCS/Wi/Size) of the "Limestone" that you are talking about, the Toothed Roll Crusher may not be able to handle it. The limiting factor will be your UCS definitely.

What is your desired feed and product sizes? ■

Limestone crushing:

if it is soft non abrasive limestone, it can be nicely done with an IMPACTOR, HSI or VSI type no problem but, the key you will be, how many TPH you need, if just for a small amount of limestone screenings for use in landscaping jobs......YOU will not need a big TPH CRUSHER.

THE feed to and the conveying from and screening into a preferred size after will also dictate what you would buy and why.

A cone crusher is used as normal as HSI impact type crushers in soft limestone and do produce LESS FINES typically than an impactor.

both those crushers will produce a nice cubical product.

ROLL CRUSHER: WILL produce a nice cubical product but, welding on roll shells can become somewhat tedious, time consuming and a headache. less FINES here also.
