I agree with Paul. Your choice of design is costly and incorrect. Not sufficient power, misapplied drives, exaggerated pipe diameter, insuffiecient information to do a full analysis, et al. You will cost your client dearly.

Dear Rajib, It is better not to take chance with pipe conveyor system because in this system one should have proper technical expertise and also site execution for the same system.Recently,one pipe conveyor system in India has failed due to wrong selections.Now ,our sister concern is modifying the same system.Please let us know if you need similar type of services from our ends.

Dear Sir
Regarding pipe conveyors and curve radii, there are several factors to consider largely pipe diameter and total curve angle.
Rough perameter is 300 times the pipe diameter up to 45 deg then it should be greater.
However in recent times there has been more developement with diferent specifications of belt rigidity and in some cases should be modified.
So it now depends on 1. pipe diameter 2. curve angle 3. Belt tension at curve 4. Belt actual rigidity.
So detailed analysis should done on the conveyor routing.

dear sir,
i have been designing & manufacturing belt conveyors & High angle belt conveyors since last 15 years and now have been asked by one of my very close client to design and supply a pipe conveyor to transport iron ore and coal having 0-150mm size and 500 TPH capacity for iron ore having length of 3.5KM and max. lift of 20 mtr. with 08 nos. of horizontal bends. we have selected 450 dia. pipe with 100 KW X 3 nos. drive having two at head and one at tail. roller dia. as127mm and 1.6 mtr. spacing. horizontal radius considered as 90 mtr. will you please advice if my selections are correct. what are the further considerations to be made. please advice. ■
