Pelletron introduces a unique and patented conveying pipeline elbow that is trade-named the Pellbow™. It is especially designed to minimize damage caused when solid particles are injected into a high velocity conveying system — the higher the velocity, the more dust and streamers are formed in elbows.
Design Principle:
The Pellbow™ design creates a streamlined pocket shape by enlarging the bend at the incoming point in order to produce a soft layer of pellets just before they impact the angular target zone. The resulting soft layer of pellets will deflect incoming pellets toward the outlet, thus minimizing product degradation and air pressure resistance.
Advantages of the new Pellbow™:
The Pellbow™ eliminates streamers, reduces dust, and handles abrasive products due to the gentle changing of direction in the Pellbow™. The Pellbow™ is 100% self-cleaning when the pipe system is purged.
The new Pellbow™ is available in stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron. The special design of the Pellbow™ can easily adapt to fit to almost all pipe and tube sizes according to various standards. Stub ends and various flange designs are available in sizes 50mm to 300mm.
