EXPOSOLIDOS, International Trade Fair for the Technology and Processing of Solids will take place in November 2009 in La Farga of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona, Spain)

EXPOSOLIDOS 2009, 5th Exhibition for the Technology and Processing of Solids, will take place from 17th to 19th November 2009 in La Farga de L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), the same venue of all the previous editions.

EXPOSOLIDOS will receive, in an area of 10.000 square meters, more than 100 exhibitors from Spain, Europe and America. The participating companies will present the latest developments in equipment, systems, services and auxiliary products in order to provide the best technological response to industrial needs regarding the handling and processing of solids. Therefore the fair is addressed exclusively to professionals in a wide range of industrial sectors: food, the metallurgy, agriculture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, shipping, mining, construction, cosmetics, plastic, paint, environment and pollution, among others.

EXPOSOLIDOS has an Organizing Committee composed of leading companies in the sector of solids’ treatment. Its president, Mr. Laurence Franks, said that EXPOSOLIDOS has become, in these last two editions, an event of international reference for advances related to technology and processing of solids both as mechanic and pneumatic, the elements to prevent abrasion in pipes and hoppers of process through instrumentation, safety and ATEX regulations and other related systems and services plant processes in the various sectors of industries, covering all sectors related to the solids.

EXPOSOLIDOS also organizes some technical seminars with the aim to present the latest developments, analyse the economic situation of the sector and report on changes in standards of safety and the environment. Also, with the goal of being a business centre, there are also product presentations and workshops on the schedule.

EXPOSOLIDOS closed its 4th edition (November 2006) with very positive figures: according to a survey conducted by the organizers, 90% of the exhibitors were very satisfied with the profile of visitors and with the professionalism of the fair. In terms of the number of visitors, exceeding 4500 came from all over Spain and 10% came from other countries.
