Today NNE Pharmaplan announced the official opening of a new office in Mumbai, India. By expanding its activities in India, one of the world’s largest medicine-producing markets, NNE Pharmaplan takes an important step towards meeting the fast-growing demand for specialised engineering and consulting services from the pharma and biotech industries in the region.
India is a key strategic region for NNE Pharmaplan, with high growth rates and attractive market opportunities for the life science industry. Today, more than 20% of the world’s generic medicines are already produced in India, and the country has now more manufacturing sites approved by the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) than any other country in the world outside the USA.
