Dear Sir/ Madam

Good afternoon and good day.

I'm an engineer in a company which is producing board from powder stucco. I would like to share about pneumatic transfer design. i hope you can help me to design pneumatic transfer. May I know how to calculate the design of pneumatic calculation in attachment.

Rate product only 6 ton/hours, temperature product 80 C, diameter particle 150 micron meter

what the cyclone design, dust collector with bag filter and the fan requirement?

1. Air velocity?

2. suction for powder if I have bulk density 0.7 kg/l?

3. size of pipe?

4. cyclone design

5. dust collector design and size bag filter?

6. rpm of motor fan?

7. impeler design?

Best Regard

Dear Mokhamad Barthony

Although you give some design data, missing are: horizontal length, vertical length, number of bends and material density.

Are there other vacuum or pressure systems in your factory for the same product, which you can relate to?

Usable design calculations are not really available and suppliers guard their knowledge very carefully for commercial reasons.

Even if you have a calculation program it is very risky to base an installation on your calculations if you are not experienced in applying that program.

Consulting a supplier with proven expertise is advisable.
