This, the 7th International Comminution Symposium (Comminution '10) is organised by Minerals Engineering International and sponsored by Sigmund Lindner.

Themes

Comminution '10 will have the following themes:

- The drive to lower energy consumption

- Designing and operating energy efficient circuits

- Can we really grind with less energy?

- Moving beyond size reduction

- multi-component modelling

- predicting liberation

- The squeeze on mills

- Are HPGR’s pushing down into primary milling territory?

- Are stirred mills reaching up into secondary & tertiary mill territory?

Papers will be published as an unrefereed Proceedings on CD-ROM, and selected papers will be published, after peer-review, in a special Comminution issue of Minerals Engineering journal.
