Dear Mr. Wohlbier,

Thanks for keeping me informed on various bulk-online portal events.

If you can kindly let me know the following:

How can we reach the concerned EPC - Engineering - Procurement - Construction companies addresses and contact details so that we can send them our project tender documents; the project details that include are:

We have progressed on various site specific studies, Concept Plans and Basic Engineering design for the Port Development at Caldera Northern Region of Chile , South America.

Soon after that we should be having Tender Documents on EPC basis covering Iron Ore and Coal Terminal which will be developed in two phases to execute and EPC tender will be floated on shortlisted and limited basis. We hope this exercise should take around 2 to 3 months time from now, say effective August 2008.

Our Development plans are:

1.Phase-1a: Iron Ore Export Terminal : 10 mil mtpa capacity - Berth and mechanised cargo handling facilities with shiploading , stockyard machines and conveyor systems, later to scale up the facility to handle 20milmtpa throughput in Phase-1b with adding additional machineries.Facility to be craeted for handling vessels of 3,00,000 dwt

2.Phase -2a: Coal Import Terminal : 5 mil mtpa capacity - Berth and mechnaised cargo handling facilities with ship unloading, stockyard machines and conveyors, later to scale up the facility to handle 10mil mtpa throughput in Phase-2b with adding additional macineries. Facility to be created adjacent to the Iron Ore Terminal so that the approach trestle is a combined one. The vessel pland for the Coal Terminal is 1,05,000 to 65,000dwt.

I would appreciate if you could precisely tell us the scope of work likely companies which can take up the above referred works on EPC basis, covering:

Design and Construction of Berth and Mechanised Cargo Handling Facilities on Turnkey basis right from Detail Design, On site Construction, Procurement, Manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, Supervision, Erection and Commissioning by themsleves or partly outsource few works but work as a main contractor for the project execution.

Shall apprecaite if you can kindly advise us on the above.

Awaiting your feedback please.

Dear Mr. N.BHUPESH CHOWDARY.

As per our experience in Chile, there are few local posibilityes to get EPC contractor for keyhold project.

There are two main local companyes ables to quote the EPC proposed: Belfi and Propuerto, both of them very close with most important local engineering companies then if you have already with the engineering project finished may be that you are already linked with one of this contractors.

In some projects we have in Chile we operate with Argentinian o Brazilian contractors, they prices are more satisfactory than the mentioned companyes.

Many thanks.
