Last year, MAC Equipment was acquired by Clyde Process Solutions plc , a UK-listed company who also own and operate Clyde Materials Handling , a leading provider of pneumatic conveying and pneumatic injection solutions targeted predominately at the metals and minerals markets. Clyde Process Solutions acquired MAC Equipment in April 2007 and has now integrated the conveying and injection technologies of Clyde Materials Handling with MAC Equipment to establish a powerful provider of process technologies for the North American market.
In an effort to strengthen MAC’s position as a market leading provider of process solutions, they have made the decision to enhance their brand and identity. The new MAC Equipment brand retains the characteristics that have helped build their business in the process industry, while incorporating the brand assets inherited from its parent company, Clyde Process Solutions.
MAC Equipment’s new brand was launched at the PTXi Show in Chicago last month, which was warmly received by all. Through the integration of Clyde Materials Handling’s US operations with MAC Equipment, MAC can now offer the process industry a wide range of material handling and air filtration solutions, which encompass:
•Dense Phase pneumatic conveying for high tonnage, low velocity transportation of difficult, arduous raw materials
•Pneumatic Injection for high accuracy, highly reliable injection of materials direct to process
