What technologies should we use

Posted in: , on 2. May. 2008 - 11:50

Dear all,

We are from Vietnam, we are planning to invest a calcium carbonate powder plant with production of 3.5tons per hours D97 avarage 8 micron meter. We wonder to choose classifier maker between ANIVI (Spain) and Alpine Hosokawa (Germany). Someone told us that ANIVI's classifier working well and stable better than Alpine Hosokawa but lower quality of powder. We are beginer in this field so we would like to ask experienced members here to advise? Thank you very much!

Dear Sir,

MINET,Mineral Energy & Technics Co.,Ltd. , is an enginering / consulting, trading and mining company involved mainly in the industrial minerals, ceramics, glass, cement and mineral processing sectors.

COMEX(http://www.comex-group.com/) UCX Air Classifier is a perfect solution to your demand.

This classifier series was newly developed for demanding applications where fine particles are to be produced with still high classification efficiency. Comex offers a number of sizes of UCX classifiers which are able to produce materials with the top size of d97 = 1.2 microns for some materials. At the same time they can provide a high classification efficiency for coarse particle separation.

Key Benefits:

* High classification efficiency

* Fine cut size down to d97 = 1.2 microns

* Low pressure and energy loss

* Reduced maintenance and operating cost

* Feeding system flexibility-by gravity and as mixed with air

* Possibility to process "difficult" materials

Being a sole agent of COMEX/Norway, we will be pleased to assist you in selecting a relevant air classifier together with a complete turnkey plant including air jet grinding and air classifying systems.

You can download the UCX Classifier brochure pdf document by visiting here

http://www.comex-group.com/prod03.htm

COMEX provides equipment and technologies for industrial applications in comminution and recycling. The main activity areas cover air classifiers and jet mills used for production of fine particles as well as an image analysis equipment used for optical sorting.

Therefore,we may offer a full quotation for a milling system including grinding and classifying stages and we will be pleased to provide you with the best offer.Thanks.

Awaiting your kind comments and thank you very much in advance for your kind cooperation.

Processing Of Calcium Carbonates

Erstellt am 11. Feb. 2009 - 10:55

Dear Navicom,

sorry for answering late. At first, it is a pleasure for us, that you are interested in machinery from Hosokawa Alpine. Nice to hear about the better powder quality produced by our classifiers. Regarding the operation conditions of our plants, please be informed, that we have many reference plants for clacium carbonate worldwide, as well in Vietnam. All of this customers are quite happy and many of them has extended their plants with second lines meanwhile.

Of course, I could name many of benefits of our machines: high quality, less operation costs, less maintenance costs, etc. All of this arguments applies to our machines, sure. But everyone who wants to sell a machine will tell you this, we can guarantee it. When anyone buys a machine from us, he invests his money in high standard equipment, which starts operation in time and guarantees the contractual capacities.

We are a partner of our customers for many decades, not only a seller of machinery. Buying a ball mill / classifying system isn`t an investment for some years only, it`s an investment for the next 20 or 30 years. We are able to provide all necessary spares and services for the complete lifetime of our machines, that`s a fact. We are doing this for more than 100 years now.

Coming back to your request: For producing d97 of 8 µm at a capacity of 3,5 t/h, I suggest to use a 500/4 ATP-NG classifier in combination with a suitable ball mill. Just for your information: Many of calcium carbonate producers are operating our coating plants additionally. Maybe your customers are looking for coated calcium carbonate too.

If you are interested in starting a project with us, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our representative in Vietnam is:

Mr. Nguyen Vinh Huynh

Michael
