Salary Range: Dependent upon candidate experience.
Location: Toronto, Ontario Canada.
Duties:
• Design, program and implement high-end custom controls for gravimetric feeding and powder handling systems.
• Commission, train and support control systems for Fortune-500 customers throughout Canada and the United States. Field travel will be approximately 25%.
• Prepare technical documents and user manuals to accompany each control system.
• Promote control products and services to potential customers.

• Minimum five-years experience with programming powder handling systems.
• Minimum five-years experience with RSLogix 5000 PLC programming and RSView / Factory Talk HMI software.
• More emphasis will be placed on process knowledge than programming experience. Previous employment with any of the feeder OEM’s will have significant emphasis.
• Possess an electrical engineering degree (BSEE, BASc or equivalent).
• Experience with computer database management, networking and Visual Basic.
• Thorough understanding of electrical principles, drive control systems, feedback loops and the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Possess analytical skills and be self-motivated as you will be expected to work independently.
• Excellent communication and written skills are essential.
