Mr. Robert Hudson is appointed Managing Director of Spiroflow Ltd.
Spiroflow Ltd. announces the appointment of Robert Hudson as their Managing Director. Robert has been working with the company for several months now and has been instrumental in assisting them to yet another successful result for 2007, including ISO 9001 accreditation. During 2007, Spiroflow have not only continued to win repeat orders from some of the world’s biggest household name companies but they have also broken into new markets including major contracts with oil companies in Belarus and Turkey.
Robert comes to Spiroflow with an impressive track record having formally been Production Director at Palamatic, prior to establishing his own engineering and management consultancy company in 2006. Formally studying mechanical engineering in the petro-chemical industry, Robert moved into the powder-handling field in the late 1980’s, where he continued his academic studies in management, health & safety and election to both the IoD and Chartered Management Institute. Robert plans to relocate to the Ribble Valley in the near future with his young family.
Michel Podevyn, Chairman of Spiroflow Group, comments, “We are delighted to have Robert Hudson join us as MD of our UK operation. Cathy Podevyn has done an excellent job of running the business for the past 3 years but is eager to get back to concentrating more of her time on the Sales and Marketing activities. I am optimistic that with Robert on board and Cathy able to devote more time to her sales role, we can move an already successful business forward to realise its full potential for the benefit of everyone and, in particular, the great team that we have at Clitheroe - without whom we would not be where we are today. In addition to my position as Chairman of the Group, I shall continue my role as CEO of our US operation Spiroflow Systems Inc.
Spiroflow are specialists in the conveying and handling of dry bulk solids and ingredients - including the safe and efficient filling and discharging of 1,000 kg capacity bulk bags.
