CATERPILLAR® TO DISPLAY MORE THAN 60 MACHINES AT SAMOTER 2008
Many products on display for the first time in Europe
Under the theme of “Your Success. Our Commitment,” Caterpillar together with its Italian dealers CGT and MAIA will display their industry leading products and services over a total of 7,500 square meters at the Samoter 2008, which takes place from 5 to 9 March in Verona, Italy.
Either in the iron for close-up customer inspection or in the demo area, more than 60 reliable Cat machines will be on display. These include skid-steer loaders, multi terrain loaders, mini-excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, excavators, articulated trucks, motor graders, track-type tractors, paving products as well as related work tools. In particular, new products include the 312D small hydraulic excavator, TH255 telehandler, 928Hz small wheel loader, AP600D paver and CB32 compactor. Many more new products will be on display for the first time in Europe.
Other features of the Cat stand:
A customer support area will feature information about Cat and dealer service capabilities on topics such as wear parts, hydraulics, power train, Product Link equipment management system and AccuGrade™ machine control and guidance products.
A dedicated safety area ‘Safely home. Everyone. Every day.’ will focus particularly on operator comfort and safety at the job site.
The Cat Rental Store area will feature information about our global rental network as well as our Italian presence. Both Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar branded products will be display in the area.
With more than 3,800 square meters, the outdoor section will feature a full-line machine demo with covered, grandstand-style seating for 420 viewers. The demo will run several times a day. A hospitality area with a view of the demo will be available for Cat customers who are accompanied by a dealer representative.
