Peytec Dewatering Screen
Problem:
Dewatering of silica sand from a hydrocyclone underflow 55 m/h, particle size 0/1
Contraption:
PEYTEC dewatering screen Type Triton 1235 nominal width 1300, nominal length 3500, vibrating mass: 1.9 tons
To dewater the difficult material 0/1 the best screen panels are required. On the one hand these panels shouldn’t be too hard to avoid loss of open area by “breathing”. On the other hand in shouldn’t be too flexible to assure a component to convey the material.
The contraption is equipped with heavy motors. PEYTEC’s dewatering machines are all in all harder motorized than classifying screens or dewatering machines of other competitors. We have established that the mechanical load of the screen deck in dewatering processes could be multiple of usual classifying because of solidly contact between the screen deck and the compressed material. PEYTEC’s dewatering screening machines of Type TRITON are state-of-the-art and have got prominent features that others haven’t complete:
•Drop edges and introversive side panels allow a simple adaption of chutes and covers.
•Splash guard at topside and rear panel.
•The upright rear panel is arranged as screen deck, so that the machine has got a bigger flow rate and the possibility of adaptation of an overflow edge to set up the turbid.
•Heavy motors.
•Optional wear rubber below screen panels.
•Optional number and height of crosswise barrier bars.
•Rubber hollow spring with fabric insert cause a progressive spring characteristic and deletes corrosion problems and the necessity of an AC brake.

Exceptional advantages for the customer:
•Very simple adaptation of the device to the environmental construction because of containing the turbid collecting chute and the hood in the delivery
•No environmental pollution because of splashing turbid.
•In the overall screen frame only surfaces exist which can easily lined by wear rubber. There are no horizontal faces where water or turbid can stay less corrosion

Problem:
Wet sizing of silica sand (-2), cut at 0.7(!) mm
Material: sand/water mixture 55 t/h
Contraption:
Flip-Flow screen Type Gladiator 1500 x 6600 with a watering device, 5.8 tons vibrating mass
This devilish problem can only be solved with the help of a device which is fit for such little separating cuts because of its useable acceleration and self-cleaning effect. The PEYTEC – Gladiator is one of the few contraptions, which are able to make the grade. This design features a sharp screen at the intake side. The limit screen size is made at the even part of the screen. With the help of this various declinations (“Banana”) an effective screening is possible in the first place.
Attention: Only PEYTEC’s Gladiator has got various declinations in conjunction with the self-cleaning effect.
The screen cloths are made of polyurethane mats and have got slotted holes with offsets in direction of flow. Because of this the perforation are able to “breath” and boost the self-cleaning effect.
The PEYTEC – Gladiator features a small restoring force, a compact construction and an upgraded screw nut fixing (no acorn nuts) compared to other products. There is also no other Flip-Flow screen with a revolving drop edge what is necessary for wet sizing.
