I am not sure if I understand your question. Are you asking if you can combine the AX bars end to end to form a longer bar? If so, the answer would be a definite no.

Modifying the bars in any manner should never be done.

Using the bars beyond their rating is a definite way to cause a catastrophic failure and potentially harm the splicers or anyone else near the area.

I would recommend that you contact Shaw Almex. Their bars all have a maximum strength rating to a specific length. They would be able to advise you of the best method to properly use their vulcanizer. ■
